Ryne Bessmer recently joined KIC as an Investment Advisor. He started in the investment arena in 2011 and his experience ranges from larger institutional firms to individual wealth management clients. Ryne earned his degree in Financial Management from Hillsdale College in Michigan, where he also studied Economics and History. During his Senior year, he was one of a select few who wrote a number of volumes for Winston Churchill’s official biography. Ryne is from Omaha and is the second of 16 children, three of whom are adopted from Ethiopia. He is very involved in the local community serving on the Board for Angels Among Us, a non-profit for children with cancer. He also serves on the Board for First State Bank and is the President of Young Catholic Professionals. Outside of work, Ryne enjoys running and reading and can often be found as a violinist at local weddings and events. In case you were wondering, he was named after the Chicago Cubs Hall of Fame second baseman, Ryne Sandberg.
Stacey Hrabik recently joined KIC as Portfolio Administrator. Her prior experience in the financial services industry includes back office operations, trading and client service. In addition, Stacey has over 20 years of experience in the Omaha medical community as a transcriptionist along with other operational roles and responsibilities. She graduated from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln with a Journalism degree, majoring in Marketing and Advertising. Stacey lives in Omaha and has three children. Her hobbies include working out, gardening, spending time at the lake, and traveling.
Susan Calvin recently joined KIC as Office Manager. Prior to this she lived in Kansas City for 13 years and was the benefits coordinator for a local pension plan administrator. Susan’s previous experience also includes the role of office manager at an architecture firm and an advertising agency. Originally from Omaha, she and her husband Gary are very glad to be closer to family and friends. She has one son, three step-children and one new grandson. In her free time, Susan enjoys reading, planting flowers, and making use of her graphic design degree in doing different kinds of creative projects.
